Spouse KITAP Indonesia

The Spouse KITAP is a 5-year permanent residency visa for foreigners married to Indonesian citizens who obtained the Spouse KITAS for at least 2 consecutive years. The Spouse KITAP allows you to stay in Indonesia with the option to travel in and out of Indonesia for up to 5 years – this KITAP is renewable.

The Spouse KITAP for Indonesia allows foreign spouses of Indonesian citizens to reside in Indonesia. Applicants must have held a Spouse KITAS for at least 2 consecutive years to apply for KITAP. The Spouse KITAP is valid for 5 years with options to extend. The visa offers significant benefits like easier renewals, long-term residency, and potential eligibility for Indonesian citizenship after several years. The processing time is about 6-8 weeks.

Important: You can only apply for KITAP indirectly. First, you need a KITAS for several years with the same sponsor and then you can apply for the KITAP.

Requirements

• Original passport with at least 36 months validity
• Scan of the ID page of your passport
• KITAS with at least 3 months remaining at the time of submission
• Bank statement showing a minimum balance of USD 2,000 or equivalent
• Previous/actual E-KITAS (I-IV)
• Passport information page and
• KITAP stamp of Independent KITAP holder
• E-KITAP and KTP of Independent KITAP holder
• Marriage certificate
• SKTT (Temporary Residential Registration)
• Company Document

Procedure

1. You can directly add the KITAP to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout for payment.
2. After checkout, you will be redirected to a form where you can enter all relevant data for the KITAP application and upload the required documents.
3. We will check your data and documents and get back to you within one business day via email or WhatsApp.
4. If everything is correct and we have received your visa fee payment, we will arrange to pick up your original passport.
5. Then we will submit your document and passport to the Immigration office.
6. For the conversion from KITAS to KITAP you have to go for a personal visit to the immigration. Once we get the date and time of your appointment at the immigration we will let you know.
7. After taking photos and fingerprints, we will wait until the process is done and the new KITAP is issued.
8. We will inform you when the process is done and arrange to drop your original passport and KITAP.

The total processing time is about 6-8 weeks.
